I have always appreciated receiving feedback, whether it be verbal or written, from folks who own and use my knives. A while back, I began collecting e-mail responses from customers who graciously took the time and effort to share with me how they felt about my work.

I just picked up the fillet knife. It looks fantastic. I think the finish on the blade is great and you don’t have to worry about it not being highly buffed. I’m looking forward to going fishing so I can use the knife. Keep up the good work.

“I received my beautiful knife sheath today! From the pictures you sent and the ones posted on your website, I was already adequately impressed at the quality of your work. Even through photos, your work appeared far superior to the lot of custom leather craftsmen I had evaluated before I found your site. Although, when the sheath actually arrived, I found that I had been wrong. Your talent not only exceeds anything I have seen available on the market, but far surpasses all the leather work I have seen and held (to include countless custom gun leather, belts and knife sheaths).
I was pleasantly surprised when I removed the sheath from the packaging. And as I examined it closely I only became more enamored by it. The edging designs are complex but understated, easily drawing the eye in and capturing attention in a subtle way. Small details such as the beveled edging, welt and leather patch molded onto the button backing are beautiful touches and really highlight the attention to detail and work put into this wonderful sheath.
The sheath to knife fit is snug, secure and positive and far better than I expected considering the knife was not available to you. I simply cannot express how impressed and happy I am with my sheath. To say I was impressed, pleased and satisfied with my sheath is an understatement.
You might wish to claim your specialty is your knives, but you are equally talented at leather as well. If your sheaths are any indication of the dedication you put into your knives, I have no doubt they are prized by the ones lucky enough to possess them. “I used my new knife today when I got 50 lbs. of Lake Trout. I like the handle size (I have large hands) and the balance is very good. It might be a little too sharp as I cut through the spine of the first fish I did, but that will correct itself with usage. The leather work is superb and the stamping flawless.
